CTET 2022 Selection Process: The Candidates will be selected on the basis of.

CTET Eligibility For Level-I (Class 1-5)

• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2nd-year diploma in elementary education OR
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of the 2nd-year diploma in elementary education, in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition norms and processor). OR
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of the 4th-year Bachelor of elementary education. OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of the 2nd-year diploma in education (special education) OR
• With at least 50% marks and a bachelor of education (B.Ed) 
  • Who has acquired the qualification or bachelor of education from any NCTE recognized Institute shall be considered for appointment as a teacher in classes I to V provided the person so appointed as a teacher shall mandatorily undergo a six-month bridge course in elementary education recognized by the NCTE, within two years of such appointment as a primary teacher.

CTET Eligibility For Level-II (Class 6-8)

• Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of second-year diploma in elementary education ( by whatever name known). OR
• Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in first year Bachelor in Education (b.Ed) OR
• Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in first year Bachelor in Education (b.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition norms and processor) regulations issued from time to time in this regard. OR 
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4th year Bachelor in elementary education (B.El.Ed). OR senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4th year BA/ B.Sc.Ed or BA.Ed/B.Sc.Ed. OR 
• Graduation with at least 50% marks and passing or appearing in first year B.Ed (special education) OR any candidate having qualified B.Ed program recognized by NCTE is eligible to appear in TET/CTET. Moreover, as per the existing TET guidelines circulated wide NCTE letter dated 11-02-2011, a person who is pursuing any of the teacher education courses (recognized by the NCTE or the RCI, as that case maybe) specified in the ncte notification dated 23rd August 2010 is also qualified to appear in the TET/CTET.
