RSMSSB Teacher Qualification:
Upper Primary Teacher General/ Special Education (level I, Class 1 to 5)
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 years diploma in elementary education (by whatever name known) or
- Senior secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2 years diploma in elementary education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE regulations 2002
- Senior secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 years bachelors in elementary education (B.El.Ed) (or)
- Senior secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 years diploma in education (special education) (for special teachers) or
- Graduation with two years diploma in elementary education
Upper Primary Teacher General/ Special Education (level II, Class 6 to 8)
- Graduation and 2 years diploma in elementary education or
- At least 50% marks either in graduation or in post graduation and b.Ed (or)
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and one year bachelor in education (B.ed), in accordance with the ncte (recognition norms and procedure) (or)
- Senior secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year bachelor in elementary education (or)
- Senior secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 years BA/ B.Sc.ed or BA/Ed./ B.Sc.Ed (or)
- Rajasthan vid at least 50% marks and one year bachelor in education (special education) (or)
- Post graduation with a minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and 3 years integrated B.Ed-M.Ed

- For other backward class/very backward class applicants of general category and creamy layer category – Rs. 450/-
- For back backward/very backward class and economically weaker class applicants of non creamy layer candidates of Rajasthan – Rs. 350/-
- For all specially-abled and SC ST applications of Rajasthan – Rs. 250/-
- Candidates of the category whose annual income of the family is less than Rs. 2.50 lakh, the examination fee of Rs. 250/- is payable the same as for schedule caste and schedule tribes
