UPSC CDS 1 Qualification: Candidates who have completed or passed Degree or Equivalent From a Recognized Board are eligible to apply.

For IMA and Officers Training Academy, Chennai	Degree from a recognised Institute or University.
For Indian Naval Academy	Degree in Engineering from a recognised Institute or University.
For Air Force Academy	Degree of a recognized university ( with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.

UPSC CDS 1 Age Limit

UPSC CDS 1 Age Limit: The candidate must be eligible as per the below-given age limit to apply.

• For IMA – unmarried male candidates bore not earlier than 02 January 2000 and not less than 1st January 2005 are only eligible
• For Indian Naval Academy – unmarried male candidates bore not earlier than 02 January 2000 and not less than 1st January 2005 are only eligible.
• For Air Force Academy – 20 to 24 years as on 01 January 2024 i.e. unmarried male candidates bore not earlier than 02 January 2000 and not less than 1st January 2004 are only eligible.
• For officers training academy (SSC course for men) – unmarried male candidates bore not earlier than 02 January 1999 and not less than 1st January 2005 are only eligible
• For officers training academy (SSC women non-technical course) – unmarried woman, issue less widow who have not remarried and issueless divorcees (in position of divorce documents) who have not remarried are eligible. They should have been not earlier than 02 January 1999 and not less than 1st January 2005 are only eligible
